Johnnie Walker's biggest presence came at Boomtown, where race day transitioned into an unforgettable music experience. A packed line-up featuring TKZee, Sphectacula & DJ Naves, DJ Tira, Sjava, Blxckie, Karyendasoul and Ciza, alongside SJ, Kristen Singh, J SBU, Deon G and Fantas The DJ, kept crowds entertained well into the evening, cementing Boomtown as one of the festival's must-visit destinations.
Guests also enjoyed Johnnie Walker's signature serves, including the refreshing Johnnie Ginger and Walker Sour, while the brand's premium hospitality offering added another layer to the race-day experience.
"Durban July is where music, fashion and culture intersect, making it the perfect platform for us to create experiences that bring people together," says Ifeoma Agu, Group Head of Culture, Influencers & Advocacy at Diageo South, West & Central Africa.
Beyond the racecourse, the celebrations continued with an intimate hospitality experience at Dukkah ahead of race day, curated dining moments at Butcher Boys Umhlanga, and a lively afterparty at Rockets Wonderland, extending the spirit of the weekend long after the final race.
Together, the experiences reflected Johnnie Walker's ongoing commitment to celebrating South African culture through memorable moments in music, lifestyle and hospitality.
