Extreme Guarana Brings the Energy to X Fest 2026 with an Unforgettable Youth Month Celebration
Thousands of music lovers descended on 1 Fox Precinct in Newtown this past Saturday (27 June) as X Fest 2026 closed off Youth Month with one of Johannesburg's biggest celebrations of music, fashion and youth culture.

As the event's official drink partner and headline sponsor, Extreme Guarana delivered an immersive festival experience that went beyond branding, creating spaces where music, street culture and community came together.
The #ExtremeFriend Campaign Set the Tone
Long before festival gates opened, Extreme Guarana had already built excitement online through its #ExtremeFriend campaign.
The nationwide social media competition encouraged people to nominate the one friend who always brings the best energy to every outing. Winners were rewarded with the ultimate VIP festival experience, including VIP tickets for their entire crew and Uber transport to and from the event.
A Line-up That Kept the Energy Going
Festival-goers were treated to performances across two stages featuring some of South Africa's biggest names in Amapiano and urban music.

Speaking ahead of the event, Extreme Guarana Brand Manager Buhle Jongilanga said the partnership reflected the brand's commitment to celebrating South Africa's youth culture.
